Unclean and ended up with food poisoning. I would not recommend.

The cocktail I had from the bar tasted of fish- I escalated this to bar staff who fought back against my comment.
The food tasted ok at the time -5 hours in I’m
Glued to the toilet. Diarrhoea and vomiting so I would recommend eating here. It’s my last day and I’ve travelled for 26days without having any problems.
The sheets were stained and the towels looked like they belonged in the bin.
It’s next to the bus station which maybe handy for some but it’s noisy with traffic.

No heat, no hot water, rundown
Rooftop patio area was great though, and location was in perfect proximity to bus terminal

Very disappointing. We got a standard room, the bed was so uncomfortable, you could feel all the springs through the mattress. There was no pressure in the bathroom (we did mention it). Be aware that every night we were there the place right next to it plays gig very loudly until 1/2am so not a chance of an early night as they don’t have double glazing. The rooftop itself is great and the food very enjoyable. The staff up there was nice.

inadequate, loveless

- located close to the bus station, which is great for onward travel
- cold shower (also somehow electrically charged)
- elevator not working (restaurant/bar on the 8th floor)
- restaurant/bar extremely slow, even when there were no other guests (at least 45 minutes waiting time)
- trash can in the bathroom was not emptied

Be wary of the 5 star reviews

Be wary of all the 5 star reviews. At first the staff seem really accommodating at the rooftop. They let us have an early check in but only if we write a good review. It was also difficult to book a room when we arrived as they wanted us to do it through hostel world or booking.com even though I had cash and they had the computer open to book a room for me. I think many of the reviews are written before people spend time there. Rooms were ok. Rooftop area was nice. Close to bus station. They are the positives. Most hostels once you check out will let you hang out/store your bags there. Not this hostel. Our bus was delayed by 8 hours so we thought we could come back there spend some money at the rooftop and hangout but we were told no. Average place.
