Very nice hotel with great people who made for an enjoyable stay. Lovely, well kept outside tropical garden/pool. Inside I especially liked the small comfy conversation areas. If I ever return to Cochabamba, this is where I’ll stay!

The staff is friendly and helpful but the area is quite noisy. We could hear outside noise till mid night. The location is convenient. Easy to get taxi and bus. Also, many shops, restaurants and attractions are within walking distance. It is great for people who first time visit La Paz. The hotel lobby and all the public area are clean but quite outdated. The room is fine. Clean and spacious.

Worth the money

Hotel is dated.. Paint outside and inside is peeling off. But the rest of the features are all good. Staff at reception and restaurant are super friendly and very helpful. Most of them speak English. We had a triple room. The 3rd bed was a sofa bed which was not too great. Toileteries were provided with no issues. They also provided 3 water bottles for free every day of your stay. View from our 13th floor was nice. One thing to watch out is the noise from the witch market area..can get loud sometimes.. recommend getting higher floors. They also provide safe box inside room which was convenient to store passports, cash etc.

Probably the best option for La Paz. Don’t expect from breakfast. Fruits are good though. Terrible sewage smell when start showering. Toilet flush problematic. Broken mattress. Extremely outdated everything. Called hotel staff to open my ancient in room safety box. Poor sound insulation - hear all noises from neighboring rooms.

Convenient but worn down

The location is great for all things touristy. The hotel has seen its glory days past and considering it’s amenities was probably top notch. Currently things are wearing out and dated. Pool, sauna and hot tub area is my favourite amenity in an open domed atrium. The room is spacious but no working air conditioning, so requested a floor fan. Rooms facing the main street are noisy as the windows are old. Bathroom was adequate but extra toilet paper needs to be requested. Breakfast was average.
