Hidden Gem
But once you step inside, you will find a refreshingly renovated reception and comfortable modern rooms. My room had everything I needed, was well airconditioned, quiet and spacious.
The ladies at reception are the most friendly and cheerful staff I came across this trip. Always ready to help and offer advice or a few words to brighten up my day, they make my stay here more special.
The hotel does not offer breakfast. But fear not, it recommended a few places including what I considered the best and most delicious breakfast place on my entire 4 weeks trip! When you exit the hotel building, just turn right and keep walking for about 5-7 minutes and you will come to this amazing cafe. Make sure you give it and this hotel a try!

I recommend it.
The station, the long-distance bus terminal, the ferry dock to Hvar Island and the Grey Line meeting point are close by.
Split, I thought, was the perfect city for long-term stays, with a very good overall atmosphere (not as crowded as Dubrovnik, not as pretentious as Nice).
I stayed in this hotel for five nights and it was great.
It's an old building, but it's completely renovated. There is also an elevator, albeit small.
The rooms are clean, fully equipped with fridge, air conditioning, safe and Wi-Fi is 5G ready. There are smart TVs and many electrical outlets.
The staff are cheerful and helpful, and they are always available to help with anything.
There is no restaurant, but there is a supermarket on the ground floor of the building and there were plenty of restaurants around for breakfast until 12 o'clock, so it was not a problem.
It's secure and you don't have to worry.
I'd love to stay at the hotel again.
