Hosts are very friendly but it is a bit Strange that the Roms are in their own House so you are litterally Living under same roof as them. Besides that, we enjoyed our short stay but would probably go with a hotel next time.

Amazing place to stay - lovely hosts

An amazing place, lovely hosts and a really nice welcome of fresh cold water on a hot day. The place is spotless and the room lovely - a great size, lovely bathroom, comfy beds and nice selection of teas and coffee. The gardens are gorgeous and a lovely space to walk our dogs. Breakfast is simple and really tasty with a choice of jams, honey, yoghurt and bread - all local produce.

A beautiful historic farm home in the countryside, hosted by a charming and helpful couple. Quiet and private. Excellent hosts. Country park-like atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Simply amazing!

We had the pleasure to stay at the beautiful and charming gite L'Hortensias.
The little cottage had everything and more you need. Kitchen utensils, a dishwasher, a washing maching and also baby stuff like a bath and even a hammok for babies which was very much appreciated by our little baby.
Fabrice and Nadia were very friendly. They were very accomodating and gave also a lot of information for visiting nearby things. We got this warm fuzzy feeling of peace and tranquility when we were there, like it was a second home.
We could use the BBQ that was present in the beautiful big garden.
It's an excellent base for visiting the Mont-Saint Michel. We also visited in the neighbourhood the Tappisserie of Bayeux, Overlord museum and the American War Cemetery at Omaha beach, the beautiful fortified village of Saint-Melo.
