Room 101

Nice room, clean. Not soundproof enough. The price of the love box at 30 euros is excessive , for what is in it. Too bad.

The best compromise between 3* / 4* hotel and guest room!

While traveling in the area, I booked a bit by chance.
I, who am a fan, for ease, of Accor-type hotel chains, tried the experiment.
What a good thing!
Space (XL), comfort, design, decoration, access, cleanliness, equipment... everything is there.
An equipped kitchen is available as well as regional dishes for sale autonomous (very modern distributor).
Alternatively, restaurants are available nearby. At 50m, I suggest Indochina: excellent Asian caterer open until 8pm.
Home and breakfast very nice.
Do not hesitate!

An innovative and functional hotel

We stopped in Valognes for one night before starting the visit of the DDay beaches and the Oxxotel was a beautiful surprise. Located in the center of the town, it has modern and spotless spacious rooms. There are all comforts and bathrooms are spacious and bright. Being 4 we had two different rooms but both perfect.
Not having a 24-hour reception, if you arrive after 11, codes are sent to access the structure and the rooms. It does not have parking but there are many public places available a few meters. An excellent solution for those who want to visit Normandy

Excellent accommodation

Pension 3.0. To access the room a code is sent by SMS to unlock the Inn entrance door and then the room door. The room is spacious and very well decorated. A kitchen shared with the other rooms is available, with dishes and microwave. A vending machine is present with dishes cooked in jars. Unlimited self-service hot drinks. Each room has a small dedicated locker in the kitchen with a small fridge and small storage. Breakfast at 8 euros with pastries, bread, hot drink and juice. No parking for the Pension but free parking nearby. The managers are also very friendly. Well placed to discover the Cotentin. To advise.
