I wish I could remember his name but the individual that worked at the front desk was amazing. Very welcoming and funny. I stayed at the hotel for 3 night. It was a solo trip, felt very safe.

The room was clean and decently large. There were plenty of towels and pillows. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The T.V in my room did not work. It was reported and nothing was done until I asked about it.
The toilet was noisy and I am not sure if it had been cleaned before me checking in. It was not cleaned during my stay.
The door to the safe would not close.
I am not sure if the room was cleaned other than a linen change due to the fact that I continually stepped on small rocks and other debris when barefoot.

The rooms need an upgrade. The shower had rust stains around the drain, and the water pressure was a little low. The air conditioning was located at floor level, next to the bed, and it blew black soot over the white bed covers. I usually stay at the property in Madison when I travel on business and reserved expecting a similar experience, but I now realize that not all properties are created equal.

First room was dirty. We changed rooms but housekeeping never cleaned our room. When we mad the request for the room to be cleaned, they made the bed with the dirty sheets. The sheets are also washed in some very aggressive detergent so they are very rough on the skin. I wouldn’t stay here again. The person who checked us in was really sweet and welcoming though. He was the most pleasant part of our stay.
