It was nice place for family trip, with my wife and two sons, around the Halla Mountain.

This is an older, apartment style hotel, and a great base to explore Hallasan and activities in the center. We had a low floor and unfortunately did not have any view (obstructed by trees). I wouldn’t expect luxury (the Hanwha hotel in Sokcho is similar but newer and better), but we had no complaints during our short stay.

Not a great “resort”. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, there were absolutely minimal amenities (barely found soap, hidden in the shower, none by sink), no microwave, no english speakers (which isn’t promised but something worth noting), there was an empty used cup in the bathroom that clearly didn’t get cleaned from the previous guest and lastly there was an awful poop smell from outside that would leak into the room. We closed the windows but I’d get a hint of poop smell during the night, time after time. There was a lack of silverware: just 2 mini forks and 2 mini spoons. We walked in, tried justifying the stay, went to the restaurant which actually had decent food, and went back to the room, booked another hotel and decided to check out in the morning. I feel bad handing out bad reviews but honesty is more important.
