Very careful hotel

Hotel very well located and in a very nice village, the rooms are clean the very friendly staff and especially that has elevator, the truth that highly recommended, the breakfast very good and varied, is very close to the beach and is very cool, the parking is outside the village but you can leave your bags and then park

Very nice stay

We had a lovely stay here. Room was well equipped and clean. Loved the sky lights! Nice breakfast every morning. Very helpful staff even though they had no one that spoke English and we did not speak basque or Spanish.
Cons: very hard to find and no parking. While we thought it was close to Bilbao, with the very windy roads it took a lot longer to drive to Bilbao than we had originally planned for.

A lovely B&B in a very pretty little town

We had a great stay at Pension Bekale. Very friendly owners who made a lovely breakfast, a very comfortable room and a very nice location. We stayed in the family room at the top of the house and it was perfect for us. The village itself is beautiful... very busy on summer weekends but it makes for a good atmosphere. Lovely beach and nice well-signposted circular hikes nearby (ask at the tourist office). Parking is tricky but we expected that, having read previous reviews, and we found a useful car park which seemed quite new by taking the first left on leaving the town in the San Sebastian direction, which has a shortcut walk back to the village if you don't mind a big hill.

Amazing little hotel in a small village

We stayed for three nights in one of the bigger rooms on third floor (the black one). Parking and driving is indeed a challenge, but it is worth it. Modern rooms with all amenities and lovely hosts. The daughter explained the village and all surrounding attractions. She accompanied us to the parking place. Although we had one parking place around the corner we preferred the bigger parking place nearby. It is a few minutes away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it is a special place!

Funky B&B in Traditional Spanish Village

So you can hardly get a car down the street, the village houses are three stories high and have been around about a hundred years but when you step through the door you are in a lovely modern and comfortable B&B. The daughter speaks English, not that she should in this remote part of Spain, but is so proud of her village and region you cannot fail to be impressed. The rooms are really comfortable and quiet and although there is no view they have put some large pictures on the wall to give a sense of space. Comfortable large bed and good shower. Each of the six rooms are in a different colour and we had the green room with matching green toilet paper!
Breakfast was a feast with everything you could wish for and more. Spanish omelette, various cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, French toast and meat and cheese along with plenty of fresh coffee and fruit juice.
You could not fault this family run B&B.
A note though regarding the village would be that when we visited in September midweek there were very few places to eat and drink, although I think more are open at the weekends. A good place for a couple of nights maximum and I can see that parking would be a problem in busy periods.
