"We always come back"
We have known this hotel for many years and we stay there whenever we can. It disappoints us at all.
The facilities in general are very good.
Rooms and bathrooms with showers, very comfortable and very clean.
The exquisite decoration.
The breakfasts are a 10. Natural juices, Nespresso coffee, very good, a lot of foods to choose from sweet, savory, cheeses, cold cuts, toast, great bread...etc.
The outdoor pool is now covered, very convenient in case of bad weather.
Very close to Canelas beach, and also to the town.
All staff very friendly and efficient.

Very good, friendly, excellent service.
It should be noted that the pool has a cover if it is raining. They allowed us to use it after checking out, which makes a difference!

Very good
The hotel staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. The breakfasts are very varied and very good. The pool is wonderful and the beach is very close. If you have the option of a room with a view, it is well worth it. In addition, it is very close to the center of Portonovo on foot. It has an indoor paid parking lot and a free outdoor parking lot. A great experience.

Good pool, within walking distance of Portonovo centre
We had a nice 3rd floor room with a corner window and view over the bay, in this clean and well managed modern hotel. The wifi signal was good. They have a secure car park round the back (no charge) and there's also free parking on the street outside. The breakfast was mediocre and not cheap, so we went out for breakfast after the first day. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly.
The pool, which is across the road, is a real strength. It's a reasonable size and private, with plenty loungers and a bar serving drinks and snacks; much better than the beach!. The beach is only a short walk and lovely to look at, but we found the sea too cold in early July and the only beach bar is nothing special and was crowded.
In the evening it's only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Portonovo, an unassuming, friendly place where there are lots of bars and restaurants, including some with very good seafood (as you would expect here). The shortest route involves turning right up a side street, then along through a network of old narrow streets and passageways, until you emerge down steep lanes to the harbour.

Small and Special.
This hotel is in a really beautiful location, directly opposite the beach. The room is a good size, as is the balcony. The hotel is very well run by Emma and her team, and her husband, who is the chef is worth traveling for. The test of a good holiday and hotel, is if you plan to return again. We do!
