Our stay at this hotel was very good. The walk-in shower was fantastic with two shower heads. The air-con was very good, the room was large and the available TV channels were pleasing. We also appreciated the in-house safe. The room was well serviced every day. The only negative was that the beds were a big hard for us. The concierge and front-desk was also great.

Stayed at this hotel recently during a holiday in T&T. Chose this hotel for its close proximity to the ferry terminal. First stayed in a room that was renovated and one that was rather dated. Such a varied experience between the two! The new room was modern and clean but the beds were quite hard and uncomfortable. The dated room felt dirty and smelly, with broken lamp shades, scratched up tables and a stained bath tub - although the bed was softer and more comfortable...but something in it gave me itch bites (I did not see bed bugs). Front staff experience was good the first time but rather poor the next time around. Also tried to change my previous booking but the staff gave me the run around and denied change since I booked through Expedia. I've stayed at Radisson hotels worldwide and this is probably the worst experience I had with this chain - which is really disappointing. I moved to the Hyatt the following day - this was well worth the additional cost for a luxurious stay with impeccable service.

Avoid This Hotel – Poor Quality and Service
I recently stayed at the Radisson in Trinidad, and I was extremely disappointed. The hotel is in a terrible state—old, worn-out furniture and outdated lamps make the rooms feel neglected. The overall cleanliness is very poor, and it doesn’t feel like a healthy environment to stay in.
On top of that, the service was awful. My room had multiple issues: a broken phone, a malfunctioning lamp, and a shower that didn’t work properly. Despite reporting these problems, nothing was done to fix them.
This hotel is old, dirty, and simply not worth the money. I highly recommend looking for a better place to stay. Don’t waste your time and money here!

Rather run down - not the normal quality of a Radisson. Have stayed here before and it was ok then. Now there are much better (and less expensive) hotels in Port of Spain. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The problem must lie with the owners and managers - apparently this hotel is licenced by but not owned by Radisson. Not good for Radisson's reputation.
