Lovely starters

The food was really nice and can’t fault it at all, worth the wait for the courses, little inconsistent in dishes from one night to another, for example, risotto was perfect one night and the next hard pieces the next. Would certainly look forward to go back to dine.
Dining Staff dressed surprisingly in jeans, but all smart, mobile phones in back pockets, but that’s just a sign of the times I guess. All staff were friendly.
I went for a spar treatment, the lady was nice and professional. I arrived 15 mins earlier, like it says on the instructions but met at the time of my appointment, so a bit of a hang around, frustratingly.
The room was disappointing, much like a travel lodge and the bathroom wasn’t spotless and didn’t make you feel like having a bath, and the sink tap was over designed & annoying tbh.
I’d have hoped more from the room, so can’t give it full 5.

Beautiful spa day

My mum and I had the best spa day. The two therapist Nic who I had and Abby who saw my mum. We’re both lovely, friendly and made you feel at ease. They gave the best massage and scalps massage ever, which did what we came for, what was to feel relaxed.
The hotel was lovely and clean, welcoming staff at reception and in the restaurant.
Excellent food and good portions.
Spa 55minute treatment and use of facilities well worth the money.
I would definitely recommend this spa and the 2 therapist.

Hotel room in need of renovation. Carpets uneven worn and not so clean. Bathroom door badly worn and exposed to damp from shower. Woodwork poor in bathroom.

Couples Spa Break

Myself and my partner went for the couples spa package overnight stay.
It was £210 which included a three course meal, 4 hours spa access, breakfast and of course our room.
We thought this was a fantastic deal and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Upon arrival to the spa, we received a robe, towel and pair of slippers each. Staff were very friendly. The spa itself we thought was great - a swimming pool, hot tub, waterfall pool, 3 steam rooms of varying temperatures, a sauna and a few sensation showers. The only thing we felt was missing was an outdoor spa hot tub facility like other spas we have visited but everything else was great.
The room we stayed in was a King Guest on the ground floor which was a perfect location as the restaurant and spa was about a 30 second walk away.
The meal was delicious. Portion sizes were great and we didn't feel like we over faced ourselves. We recommend the Smoked Haddock fishcake and Fish and Chips for mains and the Belgian Chocolate Fondant for dessert. The fondant comes with vanilla ice cream but due to my lactose intolerance I opted not to have this but was given a very generous amount of chocolate sauce and oreo bits (See photos)
A brilliant stay and we hope to visit again sometime.
