This was a beautiful property to stay at and Paul was an awesome host! The picturesque living room looking out at the mountains and farm animals was just perfect! David the ram was my husbands favorite!

The perfect get-away cottage

Out of a 17 day trip this was our favorite location! We would have loved to stay several nights. This is so tranquil and cozy. A full kitchen, family room, sheep out in the pasture, we just didn't want to leave. Perfect place to stay for heading to Handa Island and then returning.

Lovely farm cottage accommodation

Quiet peaceful cottage, a perfect two night stopover for some relief from driving these roads.
The cottage is warm and comfortable with heaters and a wood burner fire. Good kitchen facilities for self-catering.
There are walking opportunities and beaches close by.
Paul is very friendly, helpful and accommodating, he is a great host.

comfortable, thoughtful and inviting, very clean, wonderful area

Beautifully secluded, wonderful nature, picturesque landscape, easy to reach by car. "The Smithy" is furnished with a lot of attention to detail, comfortable, well thought out and inviting. Very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and a well-functioning, clean, practical bathroom. Beautiful bedroom, comfortable bed, everything you need for a night - or several! The garden and the view are wonderful and invite you to sit outside. Parking on site.
