A perfect spot
This property exceeded my expectations even though I had read wonderful reviews from TripAdvisor. We stayed here coming from a long drive headed to the Cape. We were surprised and grateful to find complimentary 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate service in the lobby on a very chilly evening. Kat checked us in and was so friendly and professional. We had never used the digital room selection and key but it was incredibly easy to pick a room and then show ID at the desk.
The room had a fridge and microwave which would be great if you plan to spend more time there. I was impressed with the rain head shower and terrific water pressure. The complimentary breakfast was a convenient and perfect start to our day. It was well tended to and offered enough options for just about anyone. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Great But Will Be Better In The Future.
I arrived in the early afternoon of May 23, 2025. At the time, there were renovations being done in the lobby. I got accessible Room 118. and it met my needs. I used the roll-in shower easily, and the switches used to raise and lower the shades at night worked perfectly. However, I had problems with the TV set, so I streamed instead. The pool was closed, but I didn't really intend to go swimming. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby and breakfast area looked lovely once the renovators were done. There was no TV in the lobby, but there may be one once all the renovations are complete.

Disappointed in this noisy hotel
On our roadtrip north we stopped here for the night because we want to be close to the New Bedford Whaling Museum. The positives are that is close to New Bedford, the staff were friendly, and the room looked like it was recently updated and clean. However, I feel Ike the negatives outweighed the positives. First, the put a $150 hold on the credit card for incidentals. I’m not sure what incidentals I could get that would total $150. I just arrive at another Hampton Inn that only added a $20 hold. Second, there was a frequently occurring noise that we first thought was fireworks outside. When we realized it was inside, I contacted the desk and they said it was the mechanical room and there was nothing they could do about it! Third, the hotel is next to an abandoned building and an old house or farm. There is a Taco Bell nearby but not too much else in walking distance. Fourth, the price was much higher than Other Hampton Inn’s. I will not be staying here on my next trip through the area.

Nice place to rest head, not much else
This hotel was undergoing construction at the time of our visit. The lobby area tile was being replaced. This construction was the first thing you noticed entering the lobby.
The rooms were nice. Not very large, however. Our room had two queen beds, which left little room for anything else. We did have a small fridge and microwave and a table. The bathroom had a shower only, no tub.
In the morning we had breakfast at the complimentary breakfast bar. They had make your own waffles, prefab eggs and sausage and a host of cold breakfast items like cereal, muffins and oatmeal.
It was a nice average room. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

The hotel room itself was fine, actually quite nice. The hotel cable system was terrible. We were never able to locate any of the channels given on either of the two channel guides we were given. Frustrating. The lobby and common areas were being renovated, but did not affect our stay.
