The stay was great. Location is perfect! On the edge of old Montreal. easy walking to the piers, Metro station, IGA, Hop-on-Hop-off bus stops, festivals, free outdoor concerts, ... .
Loved having the mini kitchen to store and heat up leftovers. We even did a small load of laundry since we got a stain on a shirt.
The breakfasts are very good but were a bit of a zoo during the busiest times.
We would definitely stay again!

Romance with some disappointments
We have just returned from a little romantic stay and my opinion of this hotel is mixed. First thing the hotel is really well located and it is great. It is at the entrance to Chinatown, we enjoyed walking and exploring the surroundings and immersing ourselves in another culture. There was a lot of Manga-style Mood and costumed people because of one event. The first hitch may be due to this event but the Check in was endless. Our suite was ready 1 hour after the scheduled time... Fortunately the Welcoming staff was really attentive and sorry and they let us go later the next day. The view from our room on the 9th floor pool side was superb, the suite is large and the bed super comfortable. The second problem is that on a lower roof of the hotel, there is a big moat that makes a hellish noise. I don’t know if building a wall or something could cut the noise a bit but it’s pretty tiring. I really enjoyed reading in the big chair on the terrace but the noise bothered me. The third disappointment is that the spa made along was closed. I had seen pictures on the internet of individual spas on the terrace but they are not there. The first day there were too many people in the pool and it was jammed. We went swimming only the next day when the water was more beautiful. The pool view is really wow though. The terrace is not exploited to its full potential in my opinion. The buffet that comes with the reservation is correct but no more. No bacon and the potatoes were cold. We ordered the restaurant in the same building of the hotel “le tiramisu” for dinner and it was very good! In summary we still enjoyed our stay but I don't think I want to come back to this hotel mainly for the defective spa and the noise of fading motor on the terrace.

Nice hotel, not nice location
The hotel was nice enough with parking below. Breakfast was convenient and had lots of choices. It was pretty noisy for rooms along St-Laurent and the highway, and there was a party above us. The location is unfortunately very close to the Mission and a lot of homeless souls

The hotel itself is great, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable but it’s so noisy. You constantly hear the outside rubble, whether it’s music nearby or the traffic on the highway closeby. It’s a shame because the service is otherwise quite good, staff are friendly and the hotel’s great but I wouldn’t advise it for noise sensible people.

Great Hotel to Experience Old Town Montreal!!
Homewood Suites is in a very convenient location to Old Town Montreal with its Unique European Vibe. The registration staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.( Especially Maya.) The rooms were clean and very well laid out, happy to see a Magnified mirror in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and room temperature perfect. The pool was the only let down, very small and space crowed with no shade . Not what the pictures display. There was a very loud dance party on the 6th floor, but ended at 11pm., (every Wednesday) so not an issue for us. Breakfast was very crowded but the staff tried to refill fast and quests were very polite to leave when finished to let others enjoy their food, which was very good and fresh. I definitely would stay here again when this location was a must in Montreal. Book and Enjoy The Experience of Old Montreal!!
