The best

No words is enough, best place we stayed in. The dogs, donkeys and the people are the most welcoming and caring hosts you can ever ask for. The feeling of visiting your best friends stays in your mind long after you left, if you leave that’s the question. We will for sure come back next time we travel in Australia. Thanks for having us, sharing your lovely house, knowledge and your kindness.

Super relaxing weekend escape

Such a beautiful property to stay at. John and Pam go above and beyond to be accommodating and to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The property is spotless clean, comfortable and have additional small gestures that make your stay that much more personable. Special shout out to their beautiful, super friendly dogs- Abbey and Bentley!

A wonderful location with wonderful hospitality

The Homestead is certainly off the beaten track, a few km west of the small community of Strath Creek. There are two options - a B&B which is integrated with the owner's home, and two self contained cottages. The owner's will offer an evening email (if booked beforehand) as the nearest alternative (except for Friday nights when a Club is open 2km away) it is quite a journey to a township. ) Set in farmland, both options have superb views. The B&B option was very homely; we shared our meal with the owners who treated us like house guests. We stayed two night and came back for a night later as the Homestead is only 1.25 hrs from the airport. The second occasion we were given one of the cottages - very well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommended. Note however there is no network signal or wifi which may be a problem for some.

Fantastic stay with terrific location, hosts.

Had a four day stay here in June and would highly recommend for either an overnight B and B or a lengthy stay to suit families or groups. A terrific venue with some beautiful scenery and local sights. Hosts Pam and John will impress with their kind hospitality.

It is a nice place, however we only stayed there for one hour as we discovered a few major issues. House does not have central heating, rooms are cold and only electric blanket suppose to keep you warm. Curtains all around the house are see through and provide zero privacy. Also there was no freezer, just a fridge.
