RECOMMENDED, NEW ADMINISTRATION

I was afraid to go for some comments I found, but I took a chance and once again confirmed that there are things worth giving another chance and this place deserved it. It is simply beautiful surrounded by nature, after seeing many pitahaya plantations in Palora, this place is an oasis with nice rooms in the form of very spacious and clean houses, all in order. There is a swimming pool that decorates the place with a waterfall inside it. The food was very fresh and tasty, and the staff can be noticed that they are in training but feel that they take care of you with love. I have been told that it is difficult to find trained personnel in the sector so they give the opportunity to people in the community and train them, it could be a double-edged weapon, but they are undoubtedly helping the community. I went for work, but certainly if you're going to travel with your family or friends, you're going to have a great time. I missed mentioning that they have a beautiful river and to access the property you must pass a suspension bridge that makes the trip very fun. You can also get to the houses by car if you are very loaded with bags. Anyway, it's WORTH LIVING THE EXPERIENCE.

Disgusting and dirty, don’t waste your time

Was an awful experience… I went there because the pictures are amazing. But the place is dirty!
Soon I arrived I had to cross waking a holding bridge with my baby on my hands, under the rain, trying to avoid all the electric cables over the bridge that they left, and my bags on the other hand.
Soon I arrived all I notice the place was dirty! The pools was disgusting, I went around 6pm, they already knew I was on the way… I asked if I can use the jacuzzi, and the only employee said, mmm not today, maybe tomorrow.
Went I went to see the jacuzzi the water was yellow, and they have an death frog inside…
Then I arrived to my room, I took my shoes off, and the floor was full of sand, I went to the bathroom to try to take a shower after that long trip. And I have a big shampoo with the name of the hotel on it, but haft of bottle.
I tried to eat something in the hotel, and they took to do something 2h wait… I chose a cordon blue, the cheese inside was expired.
Finally I arrived to my bed and my bed was full of sand inside…
I also asked to see the community, because they made a lot of promotion of it, and also was the only reason why I went there, and they said… mmmm is only for groups bigger than 10 people, I can’t do anything for you…

A new place, already high quality, will be even better

This is not deep into "selva". But it is sufficiently isolated from the nearby town of Palora to give a good sense of the jungle. The facility is about 1.5 year old. Run by the owner managers (a couple and a son). They are just owners and not hospitality professionals. They have plans to turn the management over professionals soon. Father and son speak English. Other staff are locals; nice people with candid sense of serving better, yet with minimal experience. The facility is impressive. Rooms/cottages are well designed and decorated. Very comfortable. Although the place is a near-jungle place, the climate is not too hot. Also the bugs and mosquitoes are at reasonable levels. The restaurant is quite reasonable as well. Because of the isolated location, they sell full board arrangements. All meals are tasty and well presented. They have their own "laguna" and the owner gives a nice and interesting tour of the laguna with a primitive "boat". This activity is gratis. There are things to do around the facility (rivers, waterfalls, horse riding, jungle walking, etc.). At the center of the facility there are adult and child pools. They look clean yet they create clutter. If this facility promises tranquility, there is no room for these pools. The river and a small "beach" on the river is only 1 minute from the facility for those who wish to get wet. The only thing I did not like was that large groups of local people were at the facility just for the day to have fun (eat, drink, and dive into the pool). I don't like it when "outsiders" outnumber the hotel clients.
