Great central location with a place to park your car. Elegant room, smallish bathroom. Good breakfast selection but if you order eggs be prepared for a wait. In four days only one day they were quick. Staff helpful but a bit stiff.

Dear MMviews,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts following your recent stay with us.
We’re glad to hear you enjoyed our central location, elegant rooms, and the convenience of on-site parking – it’s great that these elements helped make your visit more comfortable. I’m also pleased that you appreciated the variety at breakfast.
That said, I’m sorry to hear about the delays with egg orders and that the service didn’t feel as warm and natural as it should. We’ll be sure to share your comments with both the kitchen and service teams so we can work on delivering a more consistent and personable experience moving forward.
We truly appreciate your feedback, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you again in the future.
Sincerely,

Great Location but Room Had Some Quirks

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Telegraaf. The location truly can't be beat - right in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town, just steps from beautiful historic sites, charming streets and great restaurants. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
Breakfast was wonderful each morning. The selection was generous, fresh and beautifully presented, with both hot and cold options. The made to order omelets were my favorite!
Our room for three was on the smaller side and began to feel cramped by the third night. The main downside was the shower design - I don't know how you don't get water all over the bathroom floor. Enclosing it fully would be better.
Overall, we'd stay here again for the location and pleasant staff.

It’s also wonderful to hear your kind words about breakfast, especially the omelets – our chefs will be happy to know their efforts made a great start to your mornings!
I’m sorry to hear that the room felt a bit tight for three people by the end of your stay, and I appreciate your comment regarding the shower design. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll certainly take it into consideration as we continue refining our guest experience.

Best hotel in Tallinn!

This is the best Bonvoy property in the Baltic. I have stayed here a couple times now and have never been disappointed. The hotel is in the perfect location for those visiting the “old city” part of Tallinn. You are steps aways from the main square and the hotel is inside the ancient city walls of Tallinn. The hotel is a fantastic mix of a historic building with fully modern rooms and renovated spaces. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the outdoor space is great for eating a delicious, full breakfast before starting your day exploring the city. Having stayed here multiple times, if you aren’t staying in a suite, ask to be out in the newer section of the hotel as the rooms are set up like a modern hotel room with a nice full soda. The rooms also have balcony doors that open up to fresh air and it makes for a great night’s sleep up have the gentle cool breeze come in off the nearby sea. It is also very quiet and relaxing. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that there is no on-site gym. You have to walk a couple blocks to a local fitness club and show your room key to get in (with no charge). The fitness club closes by 8:30pm, so for those wanting 24/7 gym access, I found a state of the art gym above the grocery store near the hotel where you swipe your credit card for €6 and are let in whenever you want.

Dear LtRivers,
Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that you consider us the best Bonvoy property in the Baltics – what a wonderful compliment.
It’s always a pleasure to welcome back returning guests, and we’re glad to know that our location, historical charm, modern comforts, and breakfast offerings have made your visits memorable. Your tip about the newer section of the hotel and the benefits of the fresh breeze through the balcony doors is greatly appreciated – we’re sure future guests will find it helpful!
We also appreciate your feedback about the gym access. While we’re happy to offer complimentary entry to a nearby fitness club, we understand that the limited hours may not suit every schedule. Thank you for sharing an excellent alternative with 24/7 access – that’s very thoughtful and helpful to others who might be seeking the same flexibility.
We look forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing and refreshing stay in Tallinn’s Old Town!
Sincerely,
Eliise Allingu

Great location in the Old Town

This is a very nice hotel. The biggest plus is the location. If you want to be in the Old Town with so much to see and so many places to eat and drink this is the location for you. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there is a good restaurant in the hotel but we did not eat there. Everything about the rooms is very nice but my wife and I felt cramped. We arrived on Sunday with a room rate of 400+ euros. We were told we received an upgrade but the room still felt small.
The rate was much cheaper on Monday and Tuesday. There was accommodation for instant coffee and tea in the room. I would recommend the hotel.

Dear 204dickm,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience — we’re so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and especially appreciated our location in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town. It truly is a special setting with so much to discover just steps from the front door.
We’re also happy to hear that you found our team friendly and helpful, and we appreciate your kind recommendation.
That said, we’re sorry to hear that the room felt a bit cramped for you and your wife, even after the upgrade. While our historic building brings a lot of charm, it also means that room layouts can vary in size and shape. We’ll be happy to assist with a more spacious option next time you visit — just let us know your preferences in advance and we’ll do our best to find the perfect fit.
Thank you again for your feedback and we truly hope to welcome you back in the future!
Sincerely,

Great hotel and location

We only stayed for 1 night but had a great time in Tallinn and stay here. 10 years since our last visit to the Telegraaf Hotel, the rooms are much the same as we recalled. The bed was comfortable with crisp white sheets and two pillows each. Our room overlooked some other buildings but was quiet over night which suited us. We would stay here again and would not hesitate in recommending to friends.
NB There is a really nice restaurant to the right of the hotel as you leave the entrance and a few door further down in the ‘Elephant’ Indian restaurant which was also great.
