Excellent location, great room.

Great room and breakfasts at Abanotubani. We had the second highest level of room, which meant we had a shared balcony. Two things would have made this stay even better: first, I would love it they would have an environmental option similar to "hang your towels = we will leave them be; towels on floor = please replace them." We had our towels replaced unnecessarily every day. Second, our shared balcony was divided by several empty rolling planter racks. It would have been really atmospheric if they had planter boxes and flowers (or at least plants) in them. Still, these are just suggestions for the hotel - don't let them deter you from staying at this really great hotel. The location is tops, the balcony is great, and the breakfasts (which start at 8:00am) are delicious. Madloba, Abanotubani!

Frustration

Let's start with the good, the hotel has a good location, in the heart of Tbilisi. The rooms with terrace have a great view of the old town, the room itself is also interesting with a bathtub in the center of the room. Now for the bad. The hotel has no parking , even stopping is very difficult to unload suitcases . There's no one to help lift the suitcases into the room. Breakfast before 11:00 , we arrived at 10:30 and so with a meagre selection half of the products are already out, that is, the hotel has 10 rooms and I think you can roughly calculate the number of products. Coffee only filter, although worth an espresso machine , we stopped by for breakfast two visible acquaintances of hotel employees , so they were told , filter coffee do not drink (I understand in Georgian) , made them quietly espresso . On the last day we had an early departure, I asked for me to prepare the backfest boxes, said it was impossible. In the room there is a huge hole in the ceiling where the air conditioning is installed, the bed swayed, tried to fix, could not, chairs on the balcony with holes, cannot sit. And the most important thing is the smell of hydrogen sulfide in the room, which I think is stronger than the baths themselves. Total disappointment.

Everything is perfect but breakfast options should have different variety and should change the menu everyday since we are staying for 5 nights. Ms. Ekaterina the waitress she has an excellent attitude in serving customers kudos for her:)

I liked it.

I'm writing a review after reading the last one, you could say I'm writing back. We also had a room with a terrace (No. 9) and a beautiful view of the old town. Hotel location - 5 out of 5. And the big beautiful bathtub in our room was the same. We were without a car, so we weren't interested in parking, but I understood it was behind the hotel. The hotel provided a shuttle service because when we arrived, we did not have GEL by taxi. The hotel is really small, so there is no doorman. There are some really nice girls at the front desk who have always helped us. True, there are several steps at the entrance, but you do not need to lift suitcases into the room. The hotel has an elevator. The room has a coffee machine and complimentary good quality capsules. We had cappuccinos made of them for breakfast. You can always order an espresso for an additional fee. I never drink filter coffee, I never like it. The room was clean. Despite the warm weather, the heating was working in the room. The hydrogen sulfide in the room (No. 9) didn't smell. I loved the room and the terrace so much I didn't want to leave. There was enough food for breakfast. The Khachapuris were fabulous. We had an early check-out, had some difficulty with breakfast, but the receptionist handled it quickly. In general, you have to bring a good mood, and everything will be fine.

Excellent location if you don’t have a car to park.
Bathhouse (Hamam) is next to hotel to enjoy. Many Wine Shops and Restaurants nearby. Highly recommend it.
