Ideal for families

Very nice living room, spacious functional and warm room. The relaxation area is very nice (sauna, swimming pool, hamam...) yoga area, garden with giant chess board.
Possibility to rent bicycles (elec or not).
For restoration a beautiful highlight of local cuisine.
Breakfast for all tastes.
Welcome service like this family hotel: efficient and simple.

Nice short break, not quite contemporary anymore

Room description did not match our booking. The beds were apart and could not be pushed together & there was carpeting in it.Moreover, the room was facing the street. The hotel owner justified this by saying that there were different equipment of the rooms, which are not shown on the net. Due to the "allergens", some rooms have carpeting and some wooden floors.
We then got the opportunity to take a standard room for the same price (also facing the street) or a suite, with an extra charge of 45 € . The suite we finally chose was generously designed and quietly located in the park's bay. Beds were comfortable, even electrically adjustable. The only drawback here was the feather beds, which are no longer contemporary. The food in the restaurant u the wellness area were great!

Strange behavior.

In mid-August we ordered through Booking.com a room with balcony for 2 people for 2 nights for € 346.00. We received confirmation of this. After about 1 hour we would be called by Hotel Gerbe. We were told the confirmed room rate is only for 1 person, we should cancel at booking and book a double room directly at the hotel for € 400.00 to save costs. What are you doing? We cancelled the room and booked another hotel.

All right.

Spacious, quiet and very clean room where we were not cramped to 3 with a terrace overlooking the beautiful flowered park. We had dinner twice at the restaurant where we were delighted. The staff is friendly Some efforts to speak English, which is worth highlighting for the area! The pool is beautiful and the relaxation area (sauna, steam room and infrared) is very good.
Cons: the location, away from the lake and especially on Sunday the restaurant is closed and we found nothing nearby.

Consistent quality

Don’t expect a super modern hotel but it is very consistent in their quality and cleanliness. We return every year and are greeted by the same staff, which I can appreciate. The rooms have an old fashioned ski resort charm but they are roomy and very clean. Lots of options at the breakfast buffet and they have a really nice spa area with a swimming pool.
