City Break

We stayed here for 5 nights on a city break. We chose it for its location as it’s near to the bus terminal and the river. It was a bit difficult to find and the reception building does not give a very good impression. But our studio was perfect for our needs and the breakfast in the main building was very good with lots of choices. The staff were all very nice and very helpful. Isaac in reception was very courteous and Maritza, Mirella and Koti were always welcoming and very cheerful at breakfast. Be aware this location is a hub of bars and restaurants with music at night, which we were sheltered from through good double glazing.

This was a wonderful apartment however there were a few issues. The front door handle and lock are broken and need to be fixed. Also, the lockbox that holds the key for the front door was jammed when we arrived at 11pm. We could not open it and had to wait for someone to answer our calls and texts. A new box or system should be installed. Lastly the main bedroom mattress is very hard and you can feel the springs. A simple foam topper would be a great option. We loved the location and the overall apartment. A great option for a very good price.

Our stay in this apartment was fantastic. The location was brilliant for getting about the city. The location was in the party district and therefore you were able to hear the distant sound of music and people having fun but as this was a 3rd floor apartment the noise wasn’t distracting and didn’t keep any of us awake.

Location is excellent. I’m a frequent visitor to Budapest and know the city very well. If you want to be in the center of things this is a great choice.
Sofa bed needs a fix, not comfortable for sleep, the two bedrooms are great.
