First time in Iceland

The apartment is located in the center, very close to the famous cathedral; in the capital buses can not speed through the streets of the center, so we arrived by taxi from Keflavik airport (it was late at night, super safe area). We entered with the code provided to us through the Booking chat, everything is ok. The only small flaw is that our room overlooked the street, so in the morning we heard a bit of traffic noise, but those who sleep heavily should have no problems. I have a light sleep, the cream-colored blackouts, which did not adhere perfectly to the windows, let in some light in the morning (I attach photos). For the rest there was a TV, microwave, a double bed and a sofa bed (clean sheets), towels in quantity, shampoo and shower gel, hairdryer, cutlery, tea towels, dishwashing detergent, kitchenette with two induction stoves, refrigerator. I attach photos (we like to eat out, so we did not use the kitchen at all). Very nice and kind manager / concierge Porsteinn, present in the morning from 11 am. Pleasant room temperature. Comfortable mattresses. There are many sockets (no adapter needed). Maybe a small room for 4 people (we were only in 3), however unbeatable price... I searched for a long time both on Airbnb and Booking, 750 eur for 4 nights in Reykiavik is a great price. Alla prossima!

The owner was very responsive to my inquiries. The check-in/out process was smooth and straightforward. Loved the spacious room and amenities.

Communication and willing to assist during work hours was great. Shower and bathroom sink weren’t draining, and help would not arrive until after we checked out next morning. Noisy neighborhood. Even in early morning hours.

Nice and functional appartement in excellent area but …directly on busy street and above a bus stop ! Not recommended for light sleepers

Cozy, highly functional apartment in the heart of Reydjavik, walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Extended my stay by 3 days, liked it so much...
