The Hell Hotel in Mumbai
Below is a summary of the numerous issues we encountered during our five-night stay:
Room Readiness on Arrival: Upon our arrival, the room was not ready for check-in. We were made to wait as the room was being cleaned.
Unsanitary Practices by Housekeeping: While waiting, we observed one of the room boys using the toilet brush to clean the wash basin. This is a serious hygiene violation, and I immediately reported this to the reception. The response I received, stating that the staff member was a trainee, was both inadequate and unacceptable.
Torn, Filthy Bedding: The bedding provided was torn, smelly, and in unsanitary condition, which is completely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one that claims to offer hospitality to its guests. I have attached photographic evidence of the bedding.
Non-functioning Telephone: Starting from the second day of our stay until the day of departure, the telephone in our room was not working, making it impossible to communicate with hotel staff for any assistance.
Deadly wiring system : Wires were hanging and not properly taped to avoid Electric shocks. Refer photos attached.
Poor Internet Connection: The internet service was continuously unreliable and failed to work for significant periods. We found this especially frustrating given that internet access is a basic expectation for hotel guests.
Presence of Rats in the Reception Area: On our checkout day, we noticed two large rats at the reception. They were observed moving under the sofa where we were sitting. When reported to reception, the response we received was dismissive: "No problem, sir, they are harmless."
Limited Toilet Paper Supply: When we requested an extra toilet roll, the room boy refused, stating that only one toilet roll is provided per day. This is an unreasonable policy, especially given the overall poor experience we had.
Lack of Accountability and Management Response: Despite raising all these concerns to the hotel staff, no effort was made to rectify the situation. Instead, we were met with excuses and dismissive responses. The lack of accountability from the management is deeply disappointing and concerning.
Given the severity of the issues encountered, it is clear that your hotel fails to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest service. I strongly believe that these issues must be addressed to ensure that future guests do not face the same challenges we did.
I urge you to take immediate action to rectify these issues and to ensure that the health and safety of future guests are prioritized. Additionally, I request a formal apology for the distress and inconvenience we endured.
The lift operates in the hotel looks absolute scarry, not cleaned and a severe deathtrap to the Customers.
The Iron supplied to us is the worst uncleaned Iron I have ever come across.
We did not have Air-conditioning for two days out of our five days stay.
On top of they do not issue any receipts for any payments, so the customers will not have any proof of documents.
Please note that I will also be sharing my experience through reviews on relevant travel platforms and will be contacting the appropriate authorities to ensure that these matters are investigated.
I leave the Customers to judge on this hotel and before making a decision on booking this Risky hotel.

Can't sleep in night due to mosquitoes
Cons: can't sleep at night due to a lot of mosquitoes ( see video). After reporting about the mosquitoes, they sprayed the mosquito spray during the daytime, but it had no effect in the night and we still couldn't sleep in the night due to mosquitoes.
