Outstanding Location and Service!
Location: Great! Across the street from Eyre Square and around the corner from Shop Street. Very walkable to the Spanish Arch and across the River Corrib. Swans!
Parking: Easiest in the Eyre Square Q Parking garage around the corner and is partially validated by the hotel.
Service: Everyone was nice. Niall particularly stands out because of his helpfulness and friendliness. They will store luggage for you if you need. I had a gaffe and Niall was gracious when we were resolving it.
Rooms: Modern and clean. Plenty spacious for us. We had an en suite double room. There is a coffeemaker (also tea?). No fridge or microwave (I’m notorious for leftovers, but that’s for the best because I end up leaving things in the fridge anyway). Our room had a quote from an Adele song on the ceiling. (Quotes from The Police and Lady Gaga on the entries to the upper floors) Being attached to a bar did not affect us or our ability to fall asleep. They do provide earplugs in case. There is a safe.
Breakfast: We opted for this and it was good. Sizable portions. There is a fruit/cereal/yogurt/juice bar you can help yourself to. Morgan was friendly and nice.
I forget that TripAdvisor doesn’t allow attaching of screenshots from my video otherwise I’d have more to share. I guess you’ll have to go see for yourself! Highly recommend a stay here for visits to Galway!

Quaint Hotel with modern amenities!
This was our first trip to Ireland and Galway was our first stop. We loved the location and the room! The pub downstairs was great for our first dinner and subsequent visits to hear music and have a pint. Niall at the front desk was fantastic. He gave us wonderful suggestions and any assistance we needed. Great place to stay.

Stay by the green
Loved the hotel and location. Niall was a gem of a host helping us many times during the stay. The Skeff bar next door was a treasure trove of food and drinks.

We loved the Skeffington and the staff was wonderful, especially Niall at the front desk. There is a restaurant/bar attached and a really great pizza place next door. Location was 5 stars! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Lovely Stay
What a great location and friendly staff. Siobhan at the front desk was especially great. The rooms were spacious and the connection to the pub and restaurant particularly convenient. A five minute walk through the lovely park to the train station. We would stay here again.
