A lot to like

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in May. Our room was newly remodeled as was the bathroom. The location is excellent for exploring the historic center. The Museum of its most famous son, Rodolfo Valentino, is just up the street and gave a very complete account of one of the movies' first stars. Also just up the cobblestones is the Cathedral. While not open, it offers great views of the ravine as well as Castellina Marina. In the high season, I could see spending the day at Castellaneta Marina and then here at night. Recommended.

My wife and I stayed at this pleasant BnB in May for 2 nights. It is recently remodeled, including the bathroom. It is smack-dab in the middle of the old town of Castellaneta and it is extremely convenient for visiting the Rudolph Valentino museum. (The museum itself offers a fascinating story of one of the first true movie stars and is highly recommended.) A short walk from this BnB also offers you grand vistas of the stunning gorge on the side of Castellaneta as well as a view of Castellaneta Marina, a popular summer destination in Puglia. I could see visiting the beach but staying in old town Castellaneta on a future summer visit. Recommended.

Andateci!

Struttura davvero graziosa al centro di Castellaneta con arredamenti nuovi e di buon gusto. Tutto perfettamente funzionante con aria condizionata e zanzariera alla finestra. Ci sono degli scalini da fare per entrare in camera quindi per chi ha difficoltà motorie è da tenere in considerazione. Manca il minifrigo ma la proprietaria gentilissima e super disponibile ha ascoltato con interesse i nostri suggerimenti. Assolutamente consigliato!
