I liked everything. For me the location was convenient, because I am not the first time in Rome, but for someone it may be inconvenient to get to the center. Convenient remote access via the application. The hotel is always in touch.

I am baffled as to how Marriott can associate their name with this company.

I am baffled as to how Marriott can associate their name with this company. To begin with, nothing seems to work—not their faulty app nor the access codes. While traveling from Florence to Rome, I was unable to view my reservation on either the app or the website. After spending 1 hour and 45 minutes communicating with a representative via their chat app, they eventually gave up and sent me the access codes after reviewing my videos and pictures, which clearly showed that neither the app nor the website was functioning.
Upon arriving at the property, I found it to be about 45 minutes away from any major landmark in Rome. The neighborhood was also quite unsettling, with gang-related graffiti visible everywhere, including on the property itself. When my family and I attempted to enter using the provided codes, they did not work. I contacted Sonder again, and we were left waiting in 95-degree weather for approximately 2 hours with nowhere to go, surrounded by all our luggage.
Ultimately, a cleaning crew kindly let us into the property using their code, but even after three more hours, we still did not have the necessary code to access our apartment or the property. This meant we couldn't leave for lunch, nor was there any drinking water available in the property. This was an unacceptable level of service. Again, I am at a loss as to how Marriott could be associated with such a company. This experience has been utterly disappointing. Look at the pics, that is the property!!!

Hi 492fermini,
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay with us!
We are truly sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations and apologize for all the difficulties you faced during your stay with us especially if we were not able to assist you in the pre-arrival verification process, which is indeed difficult if you try to complete it upon arrival or perhaps on the train and not since the system sends the first communication.
I apologize for this and especially if we were not able to assist you appropriately.
As for the San Lorenzo area, it is one of Rome's historic neighborhoods, where Emperor Constantine had one of the first Christian basilicas erected, where one of the largest Universities and one of the largest Hospitals in Europe are located, I confirm that it is not a trendy and famous shopping district and that the graffiti is not valuable, but it reflects the air of freedom that students, artists and young people breathe in our neighborhood. The city center is easily reached in 30 to 40 minutes by using streetcar 3, bus 71 and 492.
With this response of mine, I in no way want to change your mind, but I wanted to first apologize and then to prospect you with a different point of view.
Sincerely,
Group traveller

**A Spotless Stay with Exceptional Support**
This Rome rental exceeded expectations! The apartment was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with modern amenities that made our stay comfortable and hassle-free. What truly stood out was the agency’s **outstanding hospitality** – they responded instantly to every inquiry, provided detailed local tips, and even helped arrange transportation for our early morning flight.
While the space was compact (typical for central Rome), its clever design maximized functionality. Though not mentioned in the listing, we were pleasantly surprised by the quiet neighborhood despite being within walking distance to major attractions like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain.
If you prioritize cleanliness, responsive support, and a central location, this rental is a fantastic choice. Perfect for travelers who value efficiency and a stress-free experience in the Eternal City!

It's a great alternative to a hotel. Also it's rather quiet and the amenities are excellent/new relative to other hotels of the same price in the area. The only downside is you'll need to rely on uber or the incredibly useless Rome public transport system to get around.

This property was amazing and the staff were available 24/7. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Short walk to train and bus station.
