I had dinner at the Nagahama store on the first floor, which was very cheap, and very helpful for me in terms of price.

I stayed at Takatsuki Station & Kimoto Station on October 20 to enjoy the 40th Kannon no Sato Furusato Matsuri with my wife.　We used two rooms of 《Green Room》 and a room of 15m2 x 154cm wide according to the report. It is a bit disappointing that the toilet was a 2-step mixed faucet (see attached picture), while the towel seemed to have almost no steps. Having a laptop in the room is convenient for work or sightseeing.　We passed a guest on the 45th and 45th floors who did not use the public bath, but did use the public bath. Also, although this photo is a smidgeon, there are also rooms with a 40m2 open-air bath and a slightly more spacious room with a 27m2 open-air bath (see the attached photo). For dinner, I used the famous yakitori restaurant on the first floor, the Nagahama branch, but it was very cheap and very helpful.

Clean room but quite small, hard to tidy two luggages at the same time. Comfortable onsen.

Surprisingly good hotels

It is a short walk from the station. Check in and enjoy all-you-can-drink coffee and tea in the lobby. Breakfast is very homely seasoned and delicious. The person at the front desk is kind.

A hotel where you can stay with peace of mind

I didn't have a specific place to stay on Lake Biwa, but I searched for APA hotels with large public baths and found this one. The fact that there was a Nagahama Roman Beer nearby also helped. This hotel used to be a regular business hotel, but later joined the APA group, and the reception staff were friendly and I liked it. The room was spacious and decent, and the large public bath was free, which was nice. It's far from Lake Biwa, so the view isn't particularly good, but it's convenient, less than 5 minutes from the station. It was raining, but they lent me an umbrella.
