Fantastic hotel with lots of character
We ate there 3 nights and the food was the best we had in Kenya, a very good and long menu, catch your own fish and they will turn it into sashimi, ceviche or even a curry!
Shela is a great village just outside the back of the hotel and walkable. If you want to explore Lamu town, you can get a guide from the hotel for 2,500 KSH and walk the town for 3 hours.
Transfers to and from the airport included and welcome drink on arrival is refreshing after a journey.
Look forward to returning to the Peponi and would highly recommend, we do wish we stayed longer once we had left!
