Stop with the family during a bike ride on the Maasroute

Ois made a stop on the Maasroute for a night with meals and breakfast.
The setting is beautiful, the tenants very friendly and .., Brazilian origin obliges, they make a very good caipirinha.
A very good experience for us.

Poor service. Not enough staff. Then close part of the terrace.

We were on the terrace on Sunday March 9. Sunny nice weather and terrace full, but.... Two young inexperienced maids served. Cup of coffee and cake ordered. After 1/2 hour cake and fifteen minutes later the coffee. The young ladies remained cheerful but the guests all went to get the drinks themselves. Management this is not as it should be. Demotivating for the staff. Good luck with the adjustments.

experience Castle Elsoo

Been in the tower suite for 3 nights. Super nice room, with entrance to an original spiral staircase to terrace. Lovely big bed. Beautiful 2 person hot tub. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food at the restaurant was tasty. After a nightly calamity, something with the CV which made a lot of noise, we got for the inconvenience a bottle of wine, very neat. What minus points are: bubbles were only added once in the bath, there was renovation at the moment, so not really quiet. This could have been mentioned on the site. The breakfast was nice, we were sorry that there was not something of tomato and / or cucumber. The cheese plate chosen was very expensive for what you got.

Too bad but unfortunately

We have been looking forward to our annual weekend with a culinary package. Unfortunately, the current chef does not reach the level of the previous chef, the dinner is nothing special although the prices suggest otherwise. Too bad, but when we come we only come for the beautiful forest.

Bad rooms, good restaurant in a nice location

Very good location, good breakfast.
For this high price, such a room really can not. And then we had the luxury room. Dated, no facilities (no luggage rack, trash etc.) and defects such as loose sockets and leakage.
Showering in a bathtub is also unpleasant.
The door between hotel and dining room they closed, then you had to go outside through the rain to breakfast.
The bed was very good.
The restaurant is quite pricey but very good.
Staff are very young and inexperienced some friendly sometimes very closed.
