World class luxury

One of those rare gems where you'd wish to stay indefinitely. Stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Grand house with large space for entertainment and small cocoons to chill, thoughtful details, luxurious features like massive jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen, separate sauna building by the sea. Peaceful setting with beautiful sea view, haven't slept this well for a long time.
Lots of activities, restaurants, boutiques, history in nearby old villages, within walking, cycling, short car ride away.
The icing of this layer cake was the charming matron of the house.

Modern villa far from everything but with marvelous views

Location: The Villa is about 20 kilometers from the town of Salo. By public transport you can reach Salo easily by train while the rest you have to travel by taxi. The Villa is at about 1 km from the main road. The nearest center is Teijo which is really a small center only with one lunch place- Mathildedal center is a little bigger at 6 km from the Villa. The nearest restaurants open also in the evening are locating there. The Villa is just by the sea on a steep slope. The views are beautiful.
Public areas: It was really unclear what were the public areas of the Villa. Breakfast was available and it was served in luxury sitting room-kitchen-dining room combination. Whether this place was available for the clients in other times was unclear. it looked that the Villa was some private villa and just some rooms were hired outside. however, at least the Spa section was available for clients. It was a really nice section with luxury steam bath, sauna and jacuzzi. It was also possible to go to swim in the sea although the stairs from the beach terrace to the sea were narrow and slippery. It also was unclear whether the beach kitchen was available for the clients. The Villa is quite luxury with large terraces, high-quality design and materials and finished environment. The Villa should really clarify what is available for the clients and what not.
The rooms: We had so called apartment which actually was quite narrow room with very basic kitchen. The toilette was small and water from shower flooded a little to the floor outside the shower. The balcony was large and comfortable. The furniture looked to be from IKEA. The condition of the structures, facilities and furniture was excellent.
The restaurant: The Villa offered only breakfast if separetely booked in advance. Other meals you either cook or go to the restaurants in Teijo or Mathildedal. The evening restaurants in Mathildedal looked to be over-prized.
The personnel: There looked to be only one person in reception and kitchen. If you are not coming at agreed time you may have to wait to enter the Villa as we had to do. We were staying two days and there were no daily cleaning. We ordered breakfast one morning and it was good.
