Dog Heaven

Travelled for work and had 2 big dogs with me. Both me and the dogs were treated like guests. The room was large and had plenty of room for both dogs on the floor. The staff is service tuned and gentle. The food was very good. For me it means a lot that the dogs are welcome, so I two extra nights because this was a good place to be for the four-legged. Had one or two experiences with foreign cleaners who were angry. Overall, this is a small minority. The glasses in the restaurant are very small, which makes you have to go several rounds to the buffet. Overall a very nice experience. Highly recommended for those travelling with dogs

Absolutely robbed us by charging $370 for two regular loads of laundry

This hotel just charged us $370 for two loads of laundry, the equivalent of three nights in the hotel. Not dry cleaning, regular laundry. $17 for one pair of jeans. $5.70 for one pair of socks - and they lost one. When we looked at the pricing we assumed it was 1/10th the price - never imagining they would think of charging anything like this.
Would have written a good review but they absolutely blew it with this. This is an embarrassment to the Clarion organization and the entire country of Norway. Absolutely ruined our stay that they would pull something like this. We complained and they blamed the company they outsourced to - Renseriet. No, Clarion - this is absolutely on you and will never do business with you again.

Right from the start, the Clarion Hotel team’s professionalism and kindness made us feel completely at home—they’re among the best we've encountered in the hospitality world. The communal areas were spotless and well maintained, reflecting great attention to detail.
After a long, exhausting flight, our room was the perfect retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the quiet, dark, and cool space was exactly what we needed to recover from a sleepless night.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our positive impression was immediate; we wanted to return only a few hours after checking in. That’s how good it’s been.

Elegant atmosphere, amazing cocktails, and top-notch service!

Clarion Hotel Stavanger gave me a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish—perfect for a relaxing evening. I enjoyed two fantastic cocktails that were not only beautifully presented but also full of flavor and balance. The staff were professional and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just stopping by the bar, it’s absolutely worth it!
