A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Douro Valley

This place is absolutely splendid – a true little oasis of peace and serenity in the middle of the breathtaking Douro Valley. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff.
The entire property is spotless – everything is impeccably clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more relaxing and comfortable. The food was another highlight: delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, truly reflecting the richness of the local cuisine.
If you're looking for a tranquil escape with outstanding service and authentic charm, this is the perfect destination. Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet family run hotel in beautiful setting

We were fortunate enough to spend a couple of nights here in our driving holiday. A family run small hotel in an exceptional setting
Fabulous and informative tour of the winery by the owners daughter who took time and were to explain everything about port production to us. Followed by tastings
The small pool was welcome in the heat and we spent a few hours lounging beside it just views

Quiet comfort and tranquility

Very nice quiet and comfortable hotel - friendly welcome - perfect French - nice room with views of the vineyards (you have to ask this view) - good bedding and beautiful bathroom
Dinner and pleasant service - well prepared and hearty dishes
Very good breakfast in other the orange juice

The Quinta was absolutely beautiful. The woman running the hotel was warm and personable. She answered all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. Our stay was peaceful, the room and grounds were clean and very well cared for, perfect!

Our stay here was great. The owner and staff were friendly and very accommodating. Service was good, a little slow at times but understandable since they were short staffed. Buffet breakfast included and very good. Snacks and light meals available throughout the day which was nice since you are far from everything. A la carte dinner which we chose the first night but dinner is served at 8:30pm (which turned out to be closer to 9:30 because of lack of staff). Meal was very good but too late for us. It was nice to be able to choose from their daily menu for an earlier meal.
