calm and quiet
very understanding host Deny. placed us. organized breakfast. good English. easy to communicate. the rooms are warm. hot water is available. very cozy. located in the yard. parking near the hotel. very convenient location. price for stay is very reasonable

No breakfast was given, as was talked about in previous reviews
I booked this place based on all of the glowing reviews about the breakfast, only to get there and....no breakfast. Scroll down and read all about the breakfasts that we didn’t get to have. I would have certainly booked somewhere else with breakfast had I known.
Otherwise the location is good. About a 25 min walk to town. You can also take a bus or drive close and park. Parking in front of the hotel is easy and free - across the street.
The room is clean and comfortable. The hosts are friendly.
The 3 stars is a reflection of the choice I made, based on all of these breakfast reviews and we got there with a big no to the question of breakfast.

Hello dear guest! Me and my husband we are laughing about the begining of your review. So first of all anywhere in the all world you can book with or without breakfast so when you booked you didn’t read carefully if breakfast is included or not. We are owner of casa Vacanza from March 2018 so each owner decide if he wants to put breakfast or not, I don’t know know the owner previously me did with this breakfast option. So to end with my response at your review, next time be carefull when you make a review that doesn’t describe the reality what you find at Casa Vacanza when YOU DIDN’T BOOK WITH BREAKFAST, WE DON’T HAVE THIS OPTION PUT IT ANYWHERE!! So we work so hard for all the clients to be satisfied at the end so we are not happy when someone like you writes untrue events of what is going here!!!! Thank You

Amazing hospitality - Can’t wait to return!
After a quick 2-day business trip in Bucharest, I decided to catch a train to Brasov to enjoy some mountain biking, mountains, and countryside.
While looking for mountain bike rentals, I was so fortunate to find Casa Vacanza online.
Let's get the easy stuff out of the way:
1. Casa Vacanza is a beautiful guesthouse, the room was comfortable and pristine, and the house was easy to find. (I walked from the nearby train-station on my way in and opted for an Uber back to the main train station when I left.)
2. The home is in a perfect location - a quick 10-15 minute walk had me in the city center of Brasov.
Now, let's move to the truly important stuff:
1. Dani and Laura are some of the warmest, most wonderful people that I have ever met during my travels. They took the time to get to know me upon arrival (over a wonderful coffee), provided me books and maps about the area, and made sure that my plans for a bike ride the next day were well-thought out.
2. Dani provided me a bike rental (including all the tools and equipment that I needed), provided me expert guidance on which roads/trails to take, and made sure that I knew that he was a phone call away if I needed help.
Bottom line: This is a marvelous place to stay with absolutely wonderful owners.
I truly cannot wait to return.

One of the finest B&B's I've ever stayed at.
I booked for 4 nights after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor but ended up staying the whole week. I can only reaffirm what everybody else is saying. Clean, comfortable room, extremely comfortable bed and quietly functioning air con (Brasov in September is surprisingly hot).
Mihaela is a wonderful host. I was lucky, September is low season and for several mornings there was nobody else there meaning we had loads of time to chat over a real quality breakfast. Breakfast was varied and substantial, everyday something a little different including typical Romanian food Mihaela had prepared at home.
The location is on one of the main roads into the historic centre of the city. You're about 20 mins walk from the centre. I enjoy a leisurely stroll but there's also plenty of buses. A ticket costs 1 euro (50c for pensioners) and is valid for 50 minutes so you can change buses if you need to. Tickets must be bought in advance.
About 10 mins walk (in the opposite direction) is the bus station from where you'll want to take your day trips to Bran Castle and the fortress at Rasnov, cost around 2 euros in either direction.
For me the best photos of the historic city were from the White and Black Towers as opposed to from the top of the cable car. If you enjoy hiking then a couple of days in Piatra Craiului National Park are a must. You can buy a map in Zarnesti but the trails are all clearly marked and colour coded.

Home style B&B - meaty breakfast!
We stayed as a family here for 4 nights. The room was spotlessly clean, big, ample for 3 or good for 4. It is about a 30 minute walk from the centre or else you can get a bus. The breakfast and service by Mihaela was second to none. She really made the visit - that and her mum's home preserved meats. Extremely tasty, but too much = cardiac arrest!!! Great for holidays.
