Best location
Beary Best is an excellent hostel for solo travellers. Really friendly and helpful reception people, comfortable beds, clean and safe. Kampung Glam/Bugis is a fantastic area to stay in to see Singapore from...easy transport, great atmosphere, lots of great restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

The identification process is very shady. When you arrive, they will ask you to send pictures of your passport to some unknown WhatsApp number.
There is a small curtain in front of the bed, but the staff often rips it open without saying anything and peeks in, this happened multiple times and daily. Imagine if you were naked and someone just comes and peeks in without saying anything. Not nice, really unpleasant...
I tried to talk about these to them but it was useless, they don't understand that they are doing anything wrong.

Everything about the hotel was worth the price. The surrounding area had many restaurants, making it very convenient. The hotel was clean, and the bathroom was great. However, the check-in process was still quite poor. I understand that it's a self check-in system, but there were no staff members available to explain or provide any guidance. When I arrived, there were many guests standing around, confused about how to check in. Everyone had to figure it out on their own, which took a lot of time.

This hostel is disgusting. The only positive thing about it is the location. 20 people per room and two toilets per floor which are unclean. Urine on the toilet seats and all over the floor, phlegm in the sinks, dirty floors. A lot of the beds are occupied by people who seem to live there/work in the area which is fine, however it’s a hostel not a property to let. This means there are people eating in the room late at night despite there being a rule against this. There are also people being loud in the evenings with no regard for other guests. No towels available. There’s hardly anyone at the front desk at one time, couldn’t even get the code to work to let us into the front door. It’s a shame because it’s our last stop in South East Asia and we’ve stayed at some great hostels but this one is awful.

The beast hostel in kampong glam Singapore
The hostel dont have Reception cause it is a self check in hostel
By 3 pm at h day u will receive the detail of check in
The hostel have 3 storey bunk bed
They dont provide towel (they said provide when u ask, liar..i had proof)
Bed linen make up by yourself
The bath room so dirty & smell no good
Better dont use this hostel, its terrible.. ..
