All children under the age of 18 must have ID or passport to be identified. Dogs with a maximum weight of 18 kilos are allowed with an additional cost of US$ 49.00 per night per dog. This tax applies in the case of rooms shared by guests who must pay sales tax and guests exempt from the payment of sales tax. Foreign business travelers requesting a printed invoice will also be charged 18% sales tax regardless of the length of their stay in Peru.
