Charming hotel in an amazing town with outstanding customer service

We stayed here after a torrid time cycling as part of a charity bike ride from Bilbao to Malaga. Just 50 mins up the road we had suffered 2 flat tyres one after another. Having gone through all our tyre tubes we were now left with a last tyre with a cut and masking tape taking us to the nearest accommodation. To our luck it was at the Tirontilla that we ended up staying.
Firstly, the hotel is beautiful and an ideal retreat for anyone wanting to experience Spanish tranquility, the rural medieval Spain. It is in a lovely quaint village.
The rooms are comfortable, spacious and come with wifi. The breakfast was great simple and rustic but with quite a number of options.
The best thing though by far is the staff. They dropped us off at the nearest bar to get dinner at 10PM. It was in Cuellar Mayor I believe the next town North. They provided us with a simple Spanish dinner of Manchego cheese, Jamon and Beef stew and red wine. It was amazing. After this we were then picked up and taken back to the accommodation around 11PM.
The following day they took me to Cuellar at just before 10am to get to the shop for it's opening time then they helped to my wheel fixed. Following that they helped when my chain got jammed. Without that we wouldn't have been able to get a train from Segovia to an Aerosmith Concert - so it really saved the day.
They never asked for any money and were really humble and helpful hosts. I can't praise them enough.

CERCA DE CUÉLLAR Y MUY TRANQUILO

El pueblo es muy tranquilo y está bien situado para desplazarse a Cuéllar y otros pueblos próximos. La habitación y el restaurante están bien, son sencillos pero los adecuados para pasar dos o tres días. La atención de Álvaro , estupenda.

Un gran descubrimiento!

Un hotelito rural al lado de Cuéllar para poder descansar con tranquilidad.
Pocos hoteles he visto con esa limpieza extrema, en cuanto llegas a la habitación te das cuenta que está todo impecable con un olor a limpio que da gusto.
El trato del anfitrión Alvaro inmejorable, atento a lo que necesites.
A parte de desayunar también se puede cenar en el hotel, algo que se agradece después de estar todo el día haciendo turismo por los pueblecitos.
