Great hotel

Beautiful and whimsically furnished hotel with very comfortable rooms (and working AC!). We only spent one night but wish we had longer. The only downside is the traffic in the area — we had a car and it took quite a while to get through gridlocked traffic to arrive at the hotel, and then it was tough to find a spot to park in the loading zone (for the hotel staff to valet the car). Aside from that, I would definitely stay here again.

I thought it is a five star hotel, but they took 1£ deposit on me and never returned back and never reply for the Email.

Really cannot believe that a smaller room with low ceiling and small windows was given, so had to return to reception and ask for the correct category of room, but was told that the room booked is under maintenance, only different room was available now. After hours of waiting, the correct room was finally given. Funny thing was that when browse the hotel website, there are still same rooms available. Why such common tricks would have happened this luxury hotel?

Stayed here in December for a birthday! Lovely location and history of building. Rooms were cosy and not a huge amount of room for suitcases. Though lovely and beautiful nonetheless.

Inexperienced staff make this a tedious experience

We had lunch. The Randolph used to be such a great hotel. Now inexperienced staff shuffle around not knowing what to do, bungling everything and making what should have been an enjoyable experience in a beautiful setting a chore and bore. What a shame. They really need to hire older experienced staff.
