Random experience. Wales.

We took a random road tripto cardiff not thinking about how busy it would be as rugby was on. No hotels were available so I googled B&B's near by and The prince of wales in prince town came up so we rang to book a room luckily they had 1 room left, a small family run pub, it was the best experience ever. They made us feel really welcome, it was amazing inside being greeted by a central log fire as it was freezing outside, the couple greeted us, they were amazing with there new baby who was beautiful. The room was so homely and cosy. We have said we would be back in a couple of months, it was the best random experience ever. I would recommend it to anyone. Thankyou for the perfect cosy stay. Xx

Food took ages and waitress unfriendly.
Would not recommend.
Uncooked food and clearly straight out of the microwave no intention of nice presentation.
Person vaping in the pub was not stopped.

Nice food but a bit of a wait

Lovely little pub. Long wait for lunch (45 mins after ordering) I had the Devon blue burger which was homemade and succulent. Another issue was other people having to chase the veg and gravy for their roast. It seems that the locals at the bar area had the attention of the staff that little bit more than the visitors eating ‍♂️‍♂️ I WOULD return and do recommend

Jail ale and much moor(ouch!)

Good selection of beer, a nice atmosphere and good pub grub: the pies are particularly good. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with good service. A pleasant, warm place to take shelter after a bracing walk on the moor.

Sunday Lunch Drop in.

We popped in for a meal on a Sunday lunch time. The warmth of the room and the female staff made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble as one of our guests could only eat chicken. So although they were busy with a carvery in the main dining room they served us in the bar/lounge. Everything was clean and friendly. The food which took no time at all in coming was really good. I personally was completely full as I had gone for the gammon meal. All my fellow eaters remarked on how lovely the food was. We didn't feel rushed or overcrowded, and both the female staff inquired how the food was. We left completely happy knowing it's a place which we can recommend to all.
