Spacious room, clean and warm. Hotel breakfast was generous with good service. Hotel a little tired in places.

Probably one of of the worst experiences I’ve had on my travels.
To start it all off, I drove passed the building 2 times before I realised where it was…..it looks nothing like the pictures at the front, if it was a dating site I’d have said they used a filter!
Got there about 5.30pm, checked in and while checking in asked where the restaurant is so I can eat……got told they aren’t serving food tonight. What?? This would have been good to know beforehand and no reason given as to why.
Then asked about breakfast to be then told it will be served at 9am onwards! Again, what?? That would have been good to know in advance too!!!
So, so poor!
Lovely big bath in the room, so figured I’d relax in that for the evening……not even enough hot water to fill half the bath!!
Room was average, nothing wrong with it, a bed and a bathroom but for the cost I’d have expected much, much better communication and evening food and breakfast times!

Great location and car parking was available (and free). Lovely friendly staff who made our stay as comfortable as they could.
The rooms are extremely clean with everything you need including tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Great breakfast choices and freshly cooked!! The only thing I would criticise is the size of the bed and comfort. They could probably do with being upgraded.

Great value for money, lovely staff, superb breakfast, lovely location. However, the rooms are right above the pub, so they will be noisy!!
