The toliet seat was not tight at all, there was black long hair in the tub, paint peeling on the door.

Stay away

The only good thing I could say was that the front desk worker was polite.
The hallways were dirty and smelled of marijuana. The first room we were given smelled so strongly of smoke that we couldn’t even fully walk in.
The next room we were given smelled of pet urine and had small blood stains and hairs on the bed sheets.
We quickly checked out and had to find another hotel for the night.
Not recommended at all

This is a very dated hotel. TV was a terrible blue tint and could not be fixed. Pool was messy and wasnt skimmed daily. Learned my lesson, not all La Quinta's are the same. Smelt like weed and cigarettes. These should be $60 a night, not double that price. Walls had poor patch work and substances splatter in it. Jusf didnt feel like a safe place to stay, would have left if it wasnr just myself.

Inexpensive, but not worth it- stay away!

This is the first poor rating I have ever left for any business.
Not the cleanest place, and the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke, but cheap- so not unexpected. The breakfast also had all carbs and no protein, but what do you expect from hotel breakfast?
Sorry in advance for the long review to follow:
However, this was unfortunately the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel manager. The night before, our plans unexpectedly changed on us, so that night I walked down to the front desk to ask the staff if we could check out one night early, and if we would be charged for that night. She told me that she would note the account, and for me to talk to the staff that morning, but that we would not be charged for the last night because I spoke with her. The next morning, I checked out with the manager (Ryan) and told him of the previous night’s conversation. He said that since we informed them after the 3pm cutoff, that we would be charged for the upcoming night anyways, despite what I was told the night before. He then said he had to fill up the breakfast buffet, and that he didn’t have anymore time for me. When I called back later, he informed me that he was filling a complaint with cooperate about me. (Obviously I had been upset, but I never yelled at him, and never cursed)
Avoid this place at all costs.

Stay Away

My experience at the La Quinta Inn in Everett was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The room and services provided did not match the basic expectations of hospitality or professionalism.
To begin with, the staff was unprofessional, dismissive, and unresponsive to multiple concerns I raised during my stay. What made this worse was the follow-up, in which management fabricated outrageous and false claims about the condition of the room to justify unwarranted fees. These included fraudulent accusations of marijuana use (I’m allergic and do not smoke), urine on the floor (completely false), and excessive pet hair (despite my service animal being freshly groomed and well-behaved).
The handling of these issues after the fact showed not only a lack of accountability but also a disturbing attempt to retaliate against a guest for filing a legitimate complaint. The so-called “documentation” was only created after I contacted them, which shows a lack of integrity in how issues are addressed.
If this is how La Quinta and Wyndham allow franchise locations to operate—using deceit and lies to cover up poor service—I would strongly recommend travelers avoid this location and proceed with caution when booking through this brand.
I am currently seeking a full refund and a formal apology from management. Until then, this experience stands as one of the worst I’ve had in recent memory.
