I like staying at the Baymont

It is a nice hotel. Clean, nice breakfast.
Large rooms. They allow pets. I went around the town taking photographs. It's a nice town that I stayed in. It's where the dinosaur tracks are in Texas.

Great Stay

The Baymont Inn has a clean lobby, clean rooms, and great staff. Mobile check in worked great. She only needed to see my ID. There was free breakfast but I didn't get to eat it.

Overall was a good time and the kids loved the pool and enjoyed breakfast.

Overall it was a good place just a few minor issues that I can look past but if the hotel is asking for my input then here it is.
The pullout mattress was very worn and not very clean for my kids to sleep on.
There was a weird funk in the room and could help be prevented by simply turning on the ac and possibly spraying an air sanitizer before our check in.
The pool area needs work on their electrical system involving their lights so that it looks better and not like it’s falling apart without any care. It just got really dark out and was kind of unsafe to watch our kids with a pool full of other people.
Breakfast was good and very helpful to save us time and money for the day ahead and the staff was pretty nice especially the day time desk clerk. He was great.
We had a fun time and would love to return and see this issues resolved.

We had to replace the bed sheets ourselves when we got there because there was hair and dirt particles on the bed after we pulled down the sheets to get in bed. No soap was in the shower or at the sink, only a tiny shampoo bottle. The ceiling looks like it had a water leak at some point that was not properly patched up and painted over. The outdoor patio furniture wasn't at all what was in the photos, didn't even have a fireplace outside, and one of the hot tubs was green and disgusting. Not at all what I thought it was going to be.

It was fine but will be our last stay there. The room was dirty, and we didn't get any tissues or hand soap. The shower curtain had mold and stains - as did the tub. Breakfast was dismal. The coffee was like water, and by 8am, selection was pretty limited on refrigerated items - only 1 yogurt left and some butter. The powdered eggs, sausage patties, and waffles were as expected (not good). There's no A/C in the stairwells, so they were hot. I can't imagine how hot they will be in summer, as it was only May. There are several similary-priced hotels in the area, so I will try one of those next time instead.
