I booked to stay at the Baymont in Louisville, KY on hotels.com 5/9-5/10 .It was a last minute trip & I planned to arrive at 10pm on 5/9.Our trip ended up taking longer & when I realized we weren’t going to arrive until 1am ,I called the hotel to let them know my eta. I was on the phone for about 8-10 minutes & no one answered I called again after selecting different options through the phone tree & the attendant confirmed my reservation & also let me know my arrival time is fine.I got to the hotel around 1:04am, the attendant let me know that they had no rooms left. I let them know I already paid for the room & I had an itenerary number through hotels.com . The attendant said , “Yes,you have an itenerary number, but we have no rooms.” I let the agent know I called earlier & he said , “That wasn’t me that picked up, you spoke with someone else.” There was also a gentleman in front of me in line who was dealing with the same issue. I was tired from the drive & now I had to find a place to stay. This was a last minute bday trip my husband & I planned to go to Kentucky Kingdom. We normally dont take time to celebrate b/c we are always working so this was a big deal for us.We had to find a hotel around 2 am in the morning & everytime I called someone was trying to sell me something.We ended up spending more than double what we planned. I also had the hardest time finding a number for hotels.com , I had to look on the BBB to find anything. Will never use hotels.com again.

I will say that the outside and inside look nothing like the pics on here. Kind of run-down. Room was clean-ish other than a brown smudge on the bathroom wall.

First and last time here
We traveled to this hotel for a soccer tournament with our team. Due to Thunder over Louisville and other tournaments, this was the best option for the team. We ended up paying 3-4 times more for this room than it’s worth.
I will say that the room was very clean and that was the one thing that kept me there for the night. However, we were there as little as possible and our families hung out in the lobby of the hotel next door.
The front desk seemed very disorganized. Multiple families in our group were given room keys only to find the room already occupied. They ended up not being able to find a room for a family, causing them to call multiple other hotels to find a room.
I will say that the room was very clean and that was the one thing that kept me there for the night. However, we were there as little as possible and our families hung out in the lobby of the hotel next door.

This hotel is so run down we did not stay the second day even though we had paid for it.
