Enjoyed our stay, service was very fast. Whenever we called, they were there within minutes for all of our needs. Our kids loved the pool and was pretty cool having a Starbucks inside of the hotel. Stayed for training in the Olympic village which was just minutes away.

Helpful staff, but that’s it.

Well…usually I can find at least a few pros for anything but all I can get from this stay is that the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful on the outside. It hides a plethora of issues on the inside. When we opened the door to the first room we were given, it hadn’t been cleaned. So back down we went to get another room. Front desk agent was very apologetic and gave us a slew of coupons for free house wine and breakfast (which is never included)
So new room… clean at least. The rooms need major TLC. Everything is dated. TV old and too small for room. A remote control that the 80’s wants back. Light fixtures that didn’t work. Tub and sink drain stoppers not working. Plywood peeling back from tabletops..we survived the night on a mattress in need of replacing with the help of the free wine. Breakfast time. The poor woman serving coffee and food was out of literally everything on the menu, I’d ask and she’d say “sorry, we’re waiting for our Starbucks delivery ..sorry out of burritos, avocado, etc etc. I felt terrible for her. Bottom line until things get fixed around here I’d head to the Hampton Inn.

Comfortable Stay with Spacious Rooms, but Bring Your Own Pillow!

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Lake Placid! The hotel was very comfortable and conveniently located right off Main Street, making it easy to access everything in the area.
The rooms were spacious and cozy, providing plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. However, the pillows were a major downside—definitely not the most comfortable and could use an upgrade.
The on-site mini-mart was super handy for grabbing essentials, and the restaurant offered light snacks and a nice breakfast to start the day.
If you’re looking for a convenient and cozy place to stay in Lake Placid, this is a great option (just consider bringing your own pillow!).

Closer

Checking in it was very hard to understand the person on the desk. In the room the heating system in the bedroom was non functional which I reported immediately as the water being scalding. Since this was the weekend they had some hockey tournament there were boys all over the place but they were very respectful. That one elevator was so slow being we were on the 4th floor, walking the stairs was faster.
The closeness to all the activities were a plus, but the place could use a good cleaning. Two nights was all we needed to attend a wedding.

The hotel was very nice and so was the staff. It was also very clean. The selection for breakfast could have been a little better and the fridge was a little small but other than that it was a very nice place.
