Awesome property!
Everything was perfect! The room, the impeccable grounds, the views(!), the personalized service, the food, all the little extras like the complementary coffee service, the different flavored water each day, the candy! We ate twice on property! Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful Property with Poor Maintenance
Overall, the hotel and its grounds are lovely. There are several courtyards with grass, high trees, chairs and sometimes a fire ring or bocci game. There are also 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, and very interesting architecture. There is a lot of unique brick work, like twisted brick columns and fireplaces. They also give you a free bottle of wine from the winery in the back. The ornate, wood staircase is very pretty.
My friend and I stayed in 2 loft rooms, which weren’t great. They were a good size with furniture, bathroom and carpeting in good shape. The problem was the a/c flow was inconsistent -sometimes it was nice and cool, and other times warmer (which means I don’t sleep). The shower water was also an inconsistent temperature, varying from cold to hot. And the loft rooms sit just above the restaurant with 2 outdoor porches with more seating (allowing more noise to float to our windows). The noise from the restaurant was significant at night.
I talked to the front desk and maintenance man about fixing the a/c and shower several times. The maintenance guy admitted he was new. He was very nice and came up twice, but didn’t fix the problems. So I tried to speak to a manager, who was never there. One day I was told the manager doesn’t come in until 2:30 pm? We were out being tourists and never got to speak to him. And he/she also never reached out to me even though I had complained (nicely) several times.
So overall, I’d say it’s a beautiful hotel with relatively reasonable room rates for Napa, but the maintenance and management is lacking.

Best In the Napa Valley
The Harvest Inn is a very unique and enjoyable experience in the Napa Valley. I’ve spent my life traveling the world, and this has to be one of my favorite places to stay at.
I also have participated in their event called the Napa Valley 750 which has to be my favorite rally of the year.

The best hotel in Napa Valley. Welcoming staff. Two complimentary drinks at the bar. Bottle of wine in the oversized room. Very comfortable robes. Several cottages dotted between a vineyard, redwood trees, pools, a koi pond, benches and brick pathways. Free shuttle to downtown St Helena. I highly recommend the Harvest Inn

Ants, Centipedes and more.
Dark and dingy. Dirty and with bugs. One of our traveling companions had ants, not just one, but hoards. We had a centipede. The carpet is disgusting. I felt we were in the basement. There is no privacy in the bathroom. I will not stay here again nor would I ever recommend it.
