Great room and location, OK in house restaurant

We stayed here from 4/18 to 4/19/25 in room 220. The hotel has a in house restaurant and bar with a nice outdoor sitting/eating area. The grounds look very good and it is within walking distance to downtown.
There did not appear to be a pool and there were no elevators to the second floor (which we expected).
Our check in and out was very good, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Our room seemed newly decorated with a very nice upscale modern feel. The room was clean and quiet, the beds comfortable and the pillows were fine. The bathroom was very nice, lots of counter space, good water pressure and a very nice shower.
The toilet area is a bit small.
We had dinner and breakfast at the Boiler Room (the in house restaurant). The breakfast and breakfast service were very good.
The dinner was mixed. We had a spinach salad (excellent) and two fish sandwiches. One was cooked perfectly and one was badly cooked (1/2 raw) and our waitress went on break mid meal and her coverage was MIA most of the time. So we'd rate the service below average
We recommend having breakfast at the hotel but not dinner
We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

it was a great location for walking to all of the great places in Solvang. The beds were very comfortable.

The room was modest at best with very little storage for more than one day stay. The facilities and location were good.

The hotel was amazing, very clean and the hotel employees are very attentive to the guests, and friendly. The food was fresh and prepared very well.

We were passing through Solvang and stayed here one night. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly! It was walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Due to our stay being only one night, we did not try the nice on-site bar or restaurant. We’d stay here again!
