100% recommend

The best place for jungle trekking and good place to stay with delicious family dinner and free coffee and tee in the morning, breakfast only $2,50. You also can ask the owner for the gem mine ( for blue zircon gemstone ) and the prices is good

Warning to those going on forest treks

The guest house itself is fine and the owners are nice people who look after their guests well, so my review pertains to the 2 day hike in the jungle only, booked through the guesthouse. In a group of 4 people and 2 guides overnight at a camp site by a waterfall, we slept in hammocks. The walk is ok, although there is little or no wildlife to be seen and the forest is much degraded. I discovered later the following day, on leaving Ban Lung that I'd been robbed of a considerable sum of cash from a pocket inside my backpack, left at the end of my hammock. I can only guess that someone crept up in the night and rifled through the bag pockets and took the cash. It may have been one of the guides or it may have been someone just hanging out in the jungle waiting til everyone was asleep to do their dirty work.
The point is, if you do any trekking in Ban Lung, keep your valuables and any cash close at hand and avoid my experience. Again, I say that this is not a criticism of Bee
Bee's Chalets, which I think run a sound business and try to help their guests as much as possible, but it is a warning that jungle trekking is not safe from thieves in the night. So take extra care!

Sexually assaulted!! (ME TOO ). Drugging...

A few days ago made a trip on the advice of this guesthouse. As a woman alone, you're vulnerable, and I was the only one who signed up for this draw. Checked whether that is justified to undertake this only with a guide. To this the owner has said, the guide is family we have known him for years. The guide went out drinking spirits the first night, I had to too. But after one glass I threw the rest away in the river without him seeing this. I was groped and he tried to drug me. To make the story not too long... the next morning we met another group in the jungle and I asked for help from a girl. She helped me out of this situation. The tour was never finished, this girl got me out of this situation. The owner approached me very aggressively afterwards, I was so sad / scared. She said; You lied about this you want your money back. ( nothing about the guide and his behavior.. !! ). I left this residence immediately. BOYCOTT this company. AVOID THIS PLACE....

WARNING!!!!
This stay offers jungle tours. A girl travelling alone was recently tried to get drunk here and the guide sat down while they were in the middle of the jungle. See all reviews on Google maps.
In the guesthouse itself is stolen. Don't go here!!!

A really great homestay

This is for us the perfect homestay!!! You are welcome by a very kind and helpful family who make you feel at hone fron the first moment. Reaksa, Sina and their son Bee Bee cooked us delicious food that we ate together with them and the other guests, gave us good advises and help with everything we could need and we could rent a scooter or bikes ( at 800m). The rooms are clean and equiped with a fan.
To resume it: go there for a great homestay, you wont be desappointed!!!
