It was a great room .. well above expectations.. and the bed was super comfortable allowing a GREAT night sleep

In all the accommodations I’ve ever stayed at, and there have been A LOT, I have never once had to ask for clean sheets. Until this place.
I’m extremely easygoing and NEVER leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disgusting I feel obligated to warn others.
The staff at check-in were very kind, which was unfortunately the only redeeming quality. The room was FILTHY. Hair was everywhere: on the sheets, towels, floors, sink, and throughout the bathroom. There were stains all over the room, including what appeared to be blood stains in the bathroom.
The bed was the worst part. The sheets were covered in God knows what, had dirty FOOTPRINTS on them, and there were long black hairs between the pillow and pillowcase. We asked for new sheets, and a woman came in wearing pajamas and Crocs to change them, only for the replacement sheets to ALSO appear dirty. No apology, acknowledgment, or compensation was offered.
We literally slept in sweaters and long pants tucked into our socks because we were scared of what we might come into contact with.
Outside was also extremely sketchy, with questionable activity and people doing burnouts in the middle of the night. We felt unsafe AND filthy.
It was nearly midnight and we were only there for one night, otherwise we would have left. I NEVER leave reviews, so take this as your sign: STAY FAR AWAY.

The check-in was fantastic, the service was friendly.
The room was adequate. However, the one mattress had a “dip” in the middle. The chair (at the desk) was heavily stained. The bathroom definitely needed more attention. The tub enclosure was new, points for that! The tile on the floor needed a serious cleaning, the tiles meeting the wall were showing heavy soiling.
The kitchenette was modern and a great addition for any longer stays. But be aware there is no dishes etc Towels were no sufficient for the amount of guests. Parking was excellent! The blinds were really nice too.

Clean,friendly and safe

Clean and very large room with a king bed,sofa,kitchenette and fireplace. Huge greenspace with picnic tables and a BBQ. Perfect for kids to play after a long day of travel. Muskoka chairs right outside your room. Lovely spot to sit and relax on a summer evening. The owners are so accommodating and friendly. One of the owners came and chatted with me as I was enjoying the evening. And the price is much less than the big chains.

I stayed at this motel on my way to PEI and on my way back from PEI. Both rooms were very clean and so spacious. Parking right in front of my room made it so easy to settle into my room. I couldn't get over how big the second room was. A king bed and a sofa and a litte kitchenette plus a fireplace. There is a huge Greenspan for guests with a BBQ and picnic tables. Perfect for families. The owners are SO accommodating and friendly. I have osteoarthritis in my hands and had trouble opening my door. The owner was there in a jiffy to help me and even offered me to change rooms which was completely unnecessary. It was a beautiful summer evening and I was sitting outside my room knitting in one of the muskoka chairs that are outside all rooms. One of the owners came over to sit and chat with me! When has that ever happened to you staying at at a big chain. It made me feel like staying with a friend or family inst3ad of being a guest in a cold unfriendly hotel. And one of the best parts is that my room cost MUCH less than other places in Cornwall. Highly recommend.
