Quiet, recently fully renovated, all new furniture, 2bedroom apartment, close to everything important in Athens. At the vicinity of the picturesque park and church of Agios Sostis in Syggrou Avenue, it is at walking distance from the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis rock itself. It is located very close to The Intercontinental and Grand Hyatt Athens Hotels. It is conveniently located at the middle between the Athenian coastline and the Athenian historical and archaeological centre. Walking through the quiet back streets of the vicinity always pays off, leading in short time to the foothills of Acropolis or to the absolute centre of Athens at Syntagma Sq. Walking through the pedestrian routes of the quiet neighbor of Koukaki , somebody qoes directly to Plaka, Anafiotika, Thision IF not attracted by local restaurants, cafes and bars. There are no restrictions for using the facilities and amenities of the apartment. Anyhow, it is not suitable for babies and children below 6 and for persons with special needs and handicaps. The apartment is at walking distance from the Metro Stations of Neos Kosmos and Siggrou-Fix (at the entrance of the Modern Art Museum). At walking distance there are two tram stations (namely Aigaiou & Mpaknana). Syggrou avenue is the old path Socrates was walking many mornings to take a sea bath, after his all-night symposiums. At the sea end of Syggrou avenue, Niarhos foundation buildings are located with the new Athens Opera and the modern vioclimatic architecture as well as the Mediterannean Garden of its surroundings. At the same area the Onasis Foundation cardiac surgery hospital is located. For those interested in Astronomy the famous Athens Planetarioum is located at the seaside end of Siggrou Av. just opposite the park of Stavros Niarhos Fountacion Cultural Centre. The neoclassic masterpiece of the Danish architect Theofilus Hansen , the Astronomic Observatory, is at the other side,close to Acropolis and Thision and open to visitors for many summer nights. An open air seafaring museum with well preserved war ships and an astonishing ancient trireme replica is easily accessible by bus or tram or even walk.
