Amazing atmosphere and staff

I am amazed by this hostel and owner Anton. He welcomed me and made sure that I don't wander around Budapest, eventhough I didn't book a place. He helped me and my friend with everything, even opened a bottle of Hungarian wine and we had a chance to hear a lot about his amazing life. He is so helpful, I've never met someone from hostel staff as him, he even offered to lend us some money for dinner in case we don't have enough HUF with us. The hostel is very cozy and interesting, everything is clean and I don't have anything to complain about. I would recommend it to anybody coming to Budapest, it is center and very close to some interesting spots.

Cheap and cheerful

Manager was helpful, gave us a tour and loads of information on arrival, handed us a map and pointed out landmarks, places to eat and directions to the train station. Check in was quick, our double private room was small but comfortable, there were communal toilets and showers, not the cleanest or modern but did the job. Noise travelled through the doors (which were squeaky enough on their own!) The hostel had good security, was in a great location - perfect for bars and clubs, and more eateries and bars on neighbouring streets. Free wifi.

Lovely hostel

This hostel has a very homely feel to it. The owner is possibly one of the loveliest men I have ever met. He is kind and helpful at all times.
The hostel is very secure and I felt very comfortable leaving my belongings here.
The hostel owner makes everyone feel welcome and is very considerate of the guests whether they are visiting to see Budapest by day or by night.
The beds are really comfortable which is vital after long flights and bus journeys and everything in the hostel is efficient.
I will definitely stay here next time I come to Budapest because I have been made to feel so welcome. I wish I could award more stars!!!

Great hostel!

Once I got past the less than impressive outside and the fact it's next to a gentleman's club and the stairs up to the hostel are very dark at nice, I entered a small and friendly hostel which was a delight to stay in. They were very patient despite my travel delays and helped me settle in...I had arrived on goulash party evening which was delicious!
Antony is like the father of the hostel - lovely, funny man who is more than willing to help with anything.
The hostel has basic but clean dorms with fans (the only hostel on my trip to have them,and considering it was at least 30degrees everday, this was amazing!), clean showers and toilets and a kitchen for cooking yourself..also the wifi worked very well!
The location was also very convenient - right next to a newsagents and on the same road as the club Instant as well as being easy to get around with nearby bus stops and metro stations.
It's unfortunately not a party hostel but perfect budget place to stay during your time in budapest

Interrail stop for 3 nights

Very nice, homely feel hostel... Might look a bit dodgy from the outside but it's nice inside and all made better by the owner, extremely nice man! Great wifi, nice rooms, good shower facilities! Location is very good, Central enough to walk to all the necessary destinations! Great pubs and night life literally across the road too
