Nice place to stay

Desert Gateway Resort in Jaisalmer is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The rooms are clean. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Best resort camp with swimming pool.
Good hospitality and neat and clean property with good location also.
Must visit it.

Better than the Average, avoid Gateway Cottage rooms

The resort often posts professional photos and questionable reviews to attract tourists. Please don't be misled by their images and avoid the Gateway Cottage rooms. Other more expensive rooms might be better, but overall, the resort is just slightly above average.
As an eight-year-old property, its infrastructure is visibly deteriorating, especially in the bathrooms. The bed linens had dirty spots, so it's advisable to bring your own bedsheets and something to place under the duvet.
They have a swimming pool, but it's more for their professional photography and is practically useless.
The best part is the cooperative staff, who pride themselves on their service. We requested to change rooms after dinner, and they promptly accommodated us.

Safari was great

Best quality room.. nd response at same tym... Food was kk.. breakfast was also kk.. place is nice.. program was nice... In short it's should be better on food side.. staff.. owner nice guy.. helpful.. njoy every moment in Sam.. if any tym will cme jaismaler surely visit

Not good .we had booked highest catagory rooms but had to stay in lower catagory rooms .

We had booked highest catagory rooms but staff at first gave us lower catagory rooms .When I asked these are not the rooms we have booked they then said the other rooms are not good to stay due to rainy weather.The rooms given to stay were in a very very bad state I had to ask them to sweep it first .They charged 1500 to take us to the desert ,when asked why are they charging us 1500 when other jeep drivers are ready to take us in 400.For which they replied they will be taking us to a private desert which is 20 kms away .When we reached we got to know it’s a activity area for para gliding and other things ,private desert was a total lie .the sand dunes are just opposite the hotel and you don’t need to go anywhere to see it .If you want to visit the desert where all activities take place then book a jeep from taxi stand which is just ahead of the hotel who will take you in just 3-400 Rs .
