A relaxing place where you are pampered

A very positive experience in this B & B thanks to the convenient location not far from the historic center and the Castle of Monastero Bormida and for two weekends pampered by the courtesy and absolute availability of Mrs. Maria and her son Roberto. Thank you very much for your welcome.
Three rooms only but very nice and clean; very comfortable bed; needless to talk here about relaxation and tranquility, you are surrounded by greenery with a beautiful garden. Very spacious breakfast room with lit fireplace, great comfort for the autumn season. Good breakfast with local products such as Toma di Roccaverano and a homemade berry tart.

Typical house of the place

Quiet, spacious and surrounded by greenery. Room very clean and with all amenities. Hearty breakfast, with typical and homemade products. All fresh. Owners very kind and very helpful. Nearby there are restaurants

Peace love and sweetness

A place imbued with positive and loving energy. Warm and kind welcome in a house that is truly unique in its internal architecture with a balcony overlooking the living area where you are enveloped in this season by the warmth of the fireplace and an excellent home-made digestive created by the owner. A delicious homemade breakfast as well as the welcoming and relaxing background music. A comfortable bedroom where we slept soundly and a perfect welcome for our big dog with even a drinking bowl placed inside the room. There were also women's perfumes from all the best-known brands in a bathroom display case. It was a truly pleasant experience and we will return with great pleasure. The house has a beautiful view of Monastero Bormida and a summer terrace where you can enjoy the view.
Thank you Maria, the human warmth that shines through your home is truly unique.

Outstanding B&B in Alte Langhe

My wife and I stayed in St Libera for 3 nights end of October 2022. The B&B is a beautiful 18th-century, fully renovated house in a very quiet location, some 10 minutes on foot from Monastero Bormida with its romantic Roman bridge and imposing monastery/castle. Ideally located to explore the “Alte Langhe” region with its quaint villages (eg Roccaverano, and don't miss the Chiesa di San Giovanni just outside the village, with stunning frescos), excellent restaurants (try Albergo Madonna della Neve in nearby Cessole) and off-the-beaten-path walking trails.
The wonderful breakfast with homemade bread, jam, and cake (plus eggs, local cheese, salami, orange juice, fruit, yogurt,...) is one of the signature features of Santa Liberia, but equally, if not more impressive, is the extraordinary hospitality and genuine warmth which Roberto extends to his guests. No question was left unanswered, no request unfulfilled, and several last-minute changes to our booking accommodated without any issue. The B&B has only 3 guest rooms (this seems to be the legal limit for B&Bs in Piedmont), so the atmosphere is homely and some exchange with the other guests comes naturally. Altogether one of the most pleasant B&Bs we have ever been.

Excellent B&B for couples

Amazing breakfast, local home made specialties. Very warm and service minded hostes. Cosy and charming fire place. Great room with comfortable bed. Location of property is situated very near village. A warm recommendation!!
